Process Engineering

Throughout the past years Comau Engineering has developed sound experience in die and tooling design, assembly line layout and body/component assembly methods.

In die design the most advanced computerized systems for solid modeling and structural analysis are employed.

This process guarantees the structural optimization of dies. Kinematic simulation checks for interference within the die and between die and machinery.

Tool designs for various applications (welding, hemming, etc.) are developed in accordance with the different automation levels required. All design activities are carried out by 3D CAD with broad use of standard solutions matching the customer's most demanding needs.
